It’s one of the most exciting times of the year at Scales Nature Park - turtle hatchling season!
Every summer, thousands of eggs we’ve incubated from at-risk turtle populations finally hatch, and thousands of baby turtles are ready to return to their wetlands.
These babies aren’t just cute, they’re crucial to conserving species at risk! Come join us at TurtleFest on August 16 - 17 to celebrate another successful season of conservation efforts.

Where: Scales Nature Park, 82 Line 15 S Oro-Medonte
Admission to the nature centre is by donation, and all are welcome! To ensure adequate space and parking, we've moved to a timed arrival format. Please register with the form below.

Our TurtleFest Fundraising Campaign helps support our critical conservation work throughout the year. Our projects rely on donations from individuals and groups, as well as grants from the government and foundations.
