Come to Scales Nature Park to help release hatchling turtles with the S.T.A.R.T. Project, and celebrate the nature centre's 10th season!

Activities include:

- Public release of turtle hatchlings from the Saving Turtles at Risk Today (START) Project's egg incubation program to a nearby wetland
​
- Games, crafts and face painting for kids at the Reptile Camp tent
​
- Live music, cash BBQ and reptile themed bake sale
​
- Demonstrations from trained field technicians about how to safely help turtles across the road
​
- Community partner displays
