Sponsoring an animal is a great way to support the care of your favourite animals here at Scales Nature Park.  There are 3 levels of sponsorship:

Level 1

You will receive:

  • a signed certificate of sponsorship

  • acknowledgment as an 'Animal Sponsor' on the animal’s enclosure

  • a family* day pass to Scales Nature Park

Conservation Projects 
​

Our turtle and snake conservation projects require supplies, equipment, and staff! Donations help support everything from electricity for our incubator, to gear for our technicians in the field, to mileage costs.

Nature Centre 
​

Our Nature Centre programs teach thousands of people every year about reptiles and conservation. Donations help buy animal food and supplies, help maintain the nature centre building and trails, and allow us to continue our education mission!

Increasing our Reach

We prioritize reaching reptile populations in high-risk areas to maximize our conservation impact. Travelling to these areas to do vital research requires vehicle maintenance, supplies, and of course, fuel! Your support helps our team get where they can make a difference.

Our activities are made possible due to the donations and grants that we receive from groups, individuals, and the government. We are always thankful for donations of any size, whether they be for general support or towards a specific goal or purpose. Donations may be made in person, by cheque, e-transfer to scalesnaturepark@gmail.com, or through the Donate button below. Note that we are currently unable to provide tax receipts.
